a.
The art classroom transforms into an environment
where the student will be encouraged to try new forms of art and consider how
to add their unique voice to art.

Exploring allows the student to feel free in
trying something new as well as pushes them to keep developing as an artist.
This promotes the student to connect in new and interesting ways who they are
with their work.
2.
Perceive
a.
The student learns how to read art (analyzing it
formally and contextually) and have a general sense of how to classify the art.
b.
Students can better understand how to interact
with the art world if they know how it works outside the classroom. They can
also learn how to apply what they become interested in.

Relate/Engage
a.
Artwork becomes a more intimate experience for
the student. He/she learns how to make a connection to other artists’ work as
well as learning to apply themselves to the work they make.
b.
Being able to relate to a work of art completely
changes the classroom experience for the student. It makes the experience
personal and much more relevant.
